Hänsch at the trade fair FLORIAN in Dresden

Large flow of visitors despite current circumstances

This year the FLORIAN, trade fair for fire brigades, civil protection and disaster control, took place from the 08th to the 10th of October in Dresden, Germany. Despite a strict hygiene concept and a temporary restriction on the number of visitors, around 200 exhibitors from 8 different countries attended to present their latest innovations, technologies and concepts.

At the opening and throughout the entire event, there was a steady stream of visitors, from which our stand profited enormously. We had numerous intensive discussions next to our Info-Mobil, which resulted in promising contacts. Several appointments for individual presentations were made. They will be carried out over the coming weeks on site at the customer’s premises.

Many firefighters, representatives and interested parties from the industry were present at the FLORIAN and showed a lot of interest in our products. Especially our warning systems DBS 4000 and DBS 5000, the Comet SR beacon with rotating light function, the new rod microphone H2, the Audio Control Module 2 (ASM 2) with digital voice recording as well as the HT solutions raised great interest. The latter are referring to different versions of so-called intersection flashers, which provide flexibility in vehicle construction.

"All in all, our participation at the trade fair was worthwhile," says sales representative Dirk Dumann. "Especially since we can follow up on concrete requests and newly established contacts," adds colleague André Fasold.
