Hänsch Show Trailer at the Interairport 2019
New ICAO guidelines in the focus of trade visitors
From the 8th to 11th October 2019 the 22nd international trade fair for airport equipment, technology, design and services took place at the Munich Trade Fair Centre. This year, Hänsch once again presented its portfolio, which is specially designed for the use at airports.
The main focus of the trade fair visitors was on the ICAO and EASA standards. These standards are international regulations for technical equipment and installations that may be used at the airport. Since the beginning of 2019, these standards have also been observed at German airports. The directive only provides for the colours amber and blue for beacons on vehicles in airport operation and ensured great interest and varied discussions at the Hänsch stand.
The DBS4000/DBS 5000 warning systems and the Comet LED beacon in particular convinced trade visitors and decision-makers at Europe's largest trade fair for the airport industry. These are available in blue or amber, but also in switchable versions (blue/amber), both conforming to ICAO standards. But the COMET S beacon was also in great demand. These are available with an amber or blue lamp dome, also ICAO compliant. Also here numerous inquiries were received.
The knowledge of market requirements and their permanent product adaptation is a success factor and ensures that Hänsch is also the first point of contact in the market segment of equipment for Follow-Me vehicles at airports.
