Hänsch products in Greenland
Produced in Emsland – in use in Greenland at temperatures up to - 30 degrees
Visiting a customer in Greenland is not an everyday occurrence. In mid-March two of our colleagues from international sales had the opportunity to accept an invitation from the local police and ambulance based there. Together with our Danish partner they started the journey towards the artic ocean.
Several years ago, Hänsch won a tender in Greenland and equipped police vehicles with Hänsch products.
Produced in Emsland – used in Greenland: Especially our installed products as a complete solution not only received acclaim for their ease of use but were also particularly appreciated for their high quality “Engineered and Made in Germany” as well as their durability. These advantages are crucial factors when operating under extreme weather conditions.
Greenland has an artic climate with temperatures as low as minus 30 degrees. Extreme snowfall and ice-covered areas are regular conditions for emergency services. As such, the police and ambulance officials were increasingly impressed that the warning systems are still working perfectly after four years operating in ice and snow.
The police vehicles (Toyota Land Cruiser) are equipped with:
- Comet S (3x)
- Sputnik SL
- Sputnik Compact
- Tone sequence system 614
- HBE 300
The ambulance vehicles (Mercedes Sprinter) are equipped with:
- DBS 4000
- Sputnik SL
- Sputnik Compact
- Working lights
- Tone sequence system 614
- HBE 300
